Productization and Rotation -- Various factors determine the sequence in which we will launch each product. Our first product will be one which uses most of the incoming biomass from the harvesting process, so that we can recycle efficiently and prevent a disposal problem. We will soon follow with other products. Their launch priority will be determined by cost-benefit analysis. So, while Organic Mulch, Soil Booster and Fertilizer will be the first to launch, soon will come Organic Animal Feed, Non-Toxic Insect Repellent and other products.
Launch Strategies -- Product launches will be enveloped in media, advertising, merchandising and placement campaigns, designed to stimulate early and growing sales. Test marketing will precede each launch to fine-tune the product, packaging and messaging for wide acceptance. Launches will be staggered to achieve maximum media impact and to stair-step visibility of the brands. Soon, the Ultimate Earth line of products will have top-of-mind awareness and be positioned either as competitive, or as market-leaders.
Resource Allocation -- Each product’s budget will be scaled according to its market capacity and profit potential. Mulch may dominate our early efforts, because it will help us recycle most of our incoming biomass. But as other products come to market, their profitability will determine how many employees, square feet, research, equipment and marketing will be allocated.
Marketing Budget -- Each product will have its own annual marketing budget. This will pay for: Advertising Media and Public Relations; Promotion Sales; Programs and discounts; Internet marketing; and New Product Development.
